The SeaVision 218 is more than just another satellite TV system. It includes; virtual GPS, a DVB tuner, dual receiver capability, automatic satellite switching for DirecTV, interactive LED display, dual-circumvolution AI-motiontrack™ single coax stabilized platform, simple installation, and an 18” dish reflector.

Specifications

The virtual GPS means you don’t have to interconnect to any external GPS, and that the unit will automatically update your last elevation position as you are traveling. This enables the unit to quickly locate any satellite without waiting for long search routines to find or reacquire the satellite.

The DVB tuner will assure that the unit identifies any of the DBS satellites to include 61.5, 73, 82, 91, 101, 110, 119, and 148. The advantage is that ISKY can positively identify any satellite. As more satellites become available it will become more important to have a reliable DVB tuner solution.

This system is dual-receiver capable when purchased as a multiple-receiver system. If purchased as a single-receiver system, an optional upgrade kit is available.

Automatic satellite switching for DirecTV will allow you to enjoy programming on multiple satellites. As you change the channel the unit will automatically switch to the satellite corresponding to the selected channel. DirecTV will switch between 101 and 119, if you add the option for high definition the receiver will switch between 101 and 110.

The interactive LED display gives the advantage to customize the system for the user. The satellite selection display is capable of being programmed so that only the satellites the customer is using will be displayed, therefore customizing the system for simple operation.

With our dual-circumvolution AI-Motiontrac™ single coax stabilized platform you will have tracking that is unparalleled (in its class of 2 axis mounts) in the satellite marine industry. Even companies that have had similar products, which have been available for years, can’t match the tracking capabilities of this system. The tracking is superior to other 2-axis movement systems because of our trade secrets contained in the AI-Motiontrac™. With continuous rotation, the unit never has to unwind to reacquire the satellite which also aids in the superior tracking capabilities. Other systems have a cable wrap which must unwind the cables once it reaches its maximum rotation point causing the system to reacquire the satellite, taking an undetermined amount of time.

Simple installation is always a benefit. The SeaVision218 has a single coax for installation, which is the only cable required. One coax is used for data power and signal, allowing for an easier and trouble free installation.
